The Flame of Nations
Dear Friends, I am happy to announce that I’ve won the Croatian Olympics Committee’s art competition “Olympic Sports and Art” in the category of painting/print/drawing with my piece The Flame of Nations, which qualifies me to enter the IOC’s international art competition in June, in the run-up to the London 2012 Olympics, alongside a colleague sculptor who has won in his category. Teresa und Bruno
This picture depicts a nice German couple, which regularly spends their summer vacations in Croatia for many years now - Bruno and Teresa. In this painting, they are immersed in the tranquility of their surroundings as they view the sun setting over their favorite resort town.
