Was always inspired with historical military art. I therefore gave it a shot with this late 16th century cavalry officer, or Hussar as they call it.

Thanks Miran, I'm not sure about the background. I may lose the fort, because it looks dwarfed abit. I started to do this drawing as a character concept, but it ended up having too much environment in it. Since I didn't plan it to look this way on the onset, it is kinda lame this way. Dunno...
Lame?! Trust me when i say that you nailed the colors, character an the horse. Some more details on the fort and it will be great. I know this is character based image, but to me it looks epic because you've put great details in it.This image has tendency to become amazing illustration.
